The proposal during the 1 hour boat tour usually is best in front of Villa del Balbianello. It is approximately halfway through the cruise.
As concerns the photos we usually take video with the phone of the person who is proposing. In front of the villa the captain asks for your phone to take some photos of you. Captain makes video with your phone.
The captain will execute the tour with commentary on sightseeing locations as he normally would so that your partner has no idea of the surprise coming.
