FAQ about this tour
The tour departure only from Varenna?
On private tours we can depart from your hotel or town. We will pick you up at the nearest pier. I will send you the map of the meeting point. For departures outside Varenna there is a surcharge. You will see the price during the booking phase.
How many people are there on the boat?
The capacity of the boat is 18 people. To be comfortable on the boat 12 or 14 people.
Does the price change with the number of people?
Up to 6 people the price remains unchanged. For each additional person there is a 10% surcharge.
Can we stop?
On tours N.1 to N.4, during the booking you can select a stop where you want along the way.
For tours from 4 hours upwards you can choose where you want to stop and visit a villa for lunch. We can help you organize the tour
What happens in case of bad weather?
The Captain retains the right to choose if it’s necessary to cancel/ postpone a service according to the weather forecast and his experience.
If we cancel the tour because of the weather, you’ll be completely
refunded.
Can I bring my dog on board?
Of course, you can bring your dog only int the private tour. Please do not let him get on the seats. Don’t bite the captain 🙂
Can we swim in the lake?
To swim in the lake, you can ask the captain who will find a beach equipped for swimming safely.
In case of delay, can the boat wait for me?
For private tours the boat can wait for you. The tour will be modified to respect the time of the reservation
Do I have to make a reservation or can I just show up?
No, but we recommended to do it. Reservations are required for guarantying a spot on our tours.
I am a travel agency can I book for our customers?
You can contact us via the page reserved for agencies. We will send you all the information necessary to book for your customers
Can I bring prosecco or beer on board?
Certainly, you can bring prosecco or white wine on board. You cannot bring red wine on board.
You can bring beer. Remember to bring glasses too
